Nicholas May's family had a Settlement problem, reference P 328a OV 3/1/2 dated 20-Oct 1718
It appears that Nicholas May had a legal Settlement Certificate and was able to stay in Barford, Warwickshire. However, he died, leaving his wife Elizabeth and 5 small children. Barford asked Tetbury to come and get Elizabeth and the children.

William May, of Kemble Wiltshire, married on 17570119 to Anne Hadnot.
He was buried on 17610615, aged 42

Charles Mayo 1705 - and his wife Mary 1707 - baptised Humphry 17360918, Ann 17380112 lived 8 months, William 17390926, and John 17400111 and Silas Mayo was buried the same day. This could be a twin, as there is no other mention of Silas

Intestate statement made on 13 March 1760, on behalf of Charles Mayo, silversmith late of Tetbury, that she, Mary Worlock, wife of Richard Worlock of the Parish of Wotton under edge, plumber, was the lawful widow and relict of Charles Mayo. She was supported by Richard Worlock and John Bull, all three signed their names.
