Deborah, spinster, being sick in body, signed her own name on 11 Nov 1741, and her will was Proved by her mother Sarah Beale on 17 Apr 1742.
To my brothers John Beale and William Beale, and sisters Elizabeth Winter widow and Sarah wife of Michael Shipton 40 pounds apiece to be paid one month after the death of my mother Sarah Beale, and to my sister Mary Beale 20 pounds. Her will then distributes various items before leaving the remainder to her mother Sarah Beale, whom she appoints sole executrix.

William Beams wife Sarah and son John had a Settlement Certificate with the Overseers of Bawnton, reference P328a OV 3/1/2 dated 26-Jul 1740. Bawnton agreed they own the family, so the Tetbury Overseers agreed to allow them to stay, provided they were no cost to Tetbury Overseers.

William Beams of Upton, baptised 10 children between 1737 and 1754, and only one burial is recorded. He baptised John 17370820, William 17380910, Charles 17390826 (buried 17441028), Ann 17410111, William 17430130, Sarah 17460925, Elizabeth 17480117, Thomas 17490820, Robert 17520223 and Mary 17540331.

William's daughter Sarah was 21 years old when she baptised twins Sarah and James on 17680711. James was buried 5 days later, on 17680716, and Sarah on 17680912, 9 weeks old.
