Biography:

Leslie often had to look after her two siblings growing up and so she had a close bond with them, Judi especially. Leslie can be a bit too overprotective when it comes to her children and tries to keep them from the harsh realities of life.

Season History:

Season 1:

Leslie soon showed how overprotective she could be, as we learned that she had hired a private investigator to delve into Gabe’s past. At Chardonnay and Gabe’s engagement party, she did some more detective work and figured out that Victor had been having an affair with Divine aka Sophia Peterson. Leslie decided that she too would have an affair. She chose Gabe, her son in law to be.

But later Leslie felt guilty and the ‘affair’ only lasted one night. After their cheating Leslie felt edgy, in case Chardonnay ever found out. Leslie and Victor were going through a difficult time, and argued quite a lot over Christmas 2002. Leslie got drunk and was comforted by Gabe. Early in the New Year she and Victor started to grow close after the rocky patch in their marriage and they started to sleep in the same room again.

Also at the engagement party Divine was pushed down the stairs, by an unknown assailant. We later learned that this was done by Leslie, angry because of Divine and Victor. After getting back together with Victor, Leslie overheard him talking to Divine about her picking up the rest of her things from his penthouse. Leslie was shocked that Divine had been living in his penthouse.

She decided to go there when she knew Divine would be there. Leslie was preparing to confront her enemy but instead she overheard Divine outline her plans to bring down the Samson family. Leslie decided that she would have to murder Divine to stop her and organised the whole thing – even a perfect alibi. Leslie arrived to find that Divine had taken the bait, cocaine which had had pills added to it, and was unconscious on the floor. Leslie set the place on fire, thinking she had just committed the perfect murder.
