Biography:

Kayla is the overprotective daughter of Judi. She has never known her father and has never wanted to. Kayla is strong and independent, there for people when she is needed, but also able to spend time by herself.

Season History:

Season 1:

At the start of the season, Kayla liked Leo Williams and she tried to get him away from her longtime archrival, Paris Robertson. Kayla and Leo had kissed before and this led Kayla to believe that he liked her. But Leo’s mind was made up. When the rebellious, new girl in town, Cleo Brady, turned up Kayla was jealous as she and Leo got closer.

In the run up to Christmas Kayla was still jealous and decided to make her move on Leo. At her New Year’s Eve party she made a pass at him, unaware that Paris had seen it and later spread it around the whole school.

As well as this Kayla was involved in Nate’s threats. Nate confided in her following the first threat and she tried to help him find out who was behind the threats. Kayla did go overboard though, when she pointed the finger of suspicion at Paris. Nate was with Paris when some of the threats were received, but Kayla didn’t listen and confronted Paris. The two girls started fighting and in the process knocked Nate out. He was okay.

Kayla tried to encourage Nate to tell his family about the threats, but he wouldn’t listen so she took matters into her own hands with an ultimatum – either he told Victor and Leslie or she would. Paris, who had figured out what had been going on, clashed with Kayla again over this. In the end Kayla didn’t get a chance to reveal anything, as Paris discovered that Gayle, one of her friends, had been the one behind the threats.

As the season came to a close, Kayla wasn’t happy with Paris and Nate’s friendship.
