Since the moment of establishment «Ehyoi Adjam» ICF and «Irano - Slavica» CF (Ehyoi Adjam) have made a lot of work directed at consolidation of the entity and implementation of its statute tasks.

A perspective assets developing plan for the nearest five years has been worked up and composed.

«Ehyoi Adjam» ICF has been editing for over four years the scientific journal «Ehyoi Adjam» with the circulation of up to 2500 copies. Supported by the Soros fund, it has published a number of scientific papers that discussed the history of the Tajik - Persian Language classic period (Khujand, 1999). For the first time in the world Iranian philology the problem of perception and commenting in literature has been developed (Khujand, 2000, in 2 parts). A critical text of the «Gulshani roz» poem by Sheikh Mahmud Shabistani, a medieval sufi, has been edited (Khujand, 2001).

«Irano - Slavica» CF in co-operation with the scientific circles of Russia has set up a representative Editorial board and commenced editing a new scientific journal entitled «Irano - Slavica», intended to unify leading and worldwide known specialists from Tajikistan, Russia, Islamic Republic of Iran and the United Arab Emirates. It should be stressed that such editions treating the fortunes of the Tajik and Iranian culture in the Slavonic surroundings have not existed in the West, nor in the countries of Iranian languages, nor in the Russian Federation.

The foundations have elaborated and compiled a social programme purposed to support academicians of advanced age as socially ill-protected persons in the Tajik and Russian societies. Marketing plans that envisage setting-up of a Scientific Literature Publishing Centre, establishing of the Tajik Culture Centre in Moscow and the Museum of the History of Writing in Tajikistan have been made up. A number of international scientific and theoretical conferences related to the study of political and legal written monuments have been held.

Many efforts are applied in order to set up a network of scientific and other links within the CIS and at the worldwide level (India, Pakistan, Iran, the USA, France).

Our organisations have been co-operating successfully with the Juma Al-Majid Cultural Heritage Centre, UAE that transferred to us as a gift various UAE-made equipment used for «doctoring», restoring, protecting and conserving ancient manuscripts, whose value exceeds US$ 170.000,00.

An extensive research programme aimed at study, revival, protection and conservation of written monuments of the Tajik and Persian literature of the Middle Ages is being elaborated in co-operation with the scientific circles of Tajikistan, the Russian Federation, the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United Arab Emirates. A catalogue of the stock of manuscripts of Central Asia is being prepared for publishing, too.

Many actions have been undertaken to establish the Tajik Culture Centre in Moscow. A joint cultural and popular scientific programme including a route of Peace and Friendship through the most ancient centres of world civilisation, situated in the countries of Europe and Asia is being developed.

The personnel of the «Irano - Slavica» CF participate actively in the trainings conducted by CAF of Russia in order to improve their qualification.
