| Kachess Cabin |
| Driving Directions: From the Seattle area, drive east on I-90 over Snoqualmie Pass. Take the Stampede Pass/Lake Kachess exit, #62. It is 10 miles east of Snoqualmie Summit. Go left across the freeway toward Kachess Lake Road. At 2.5 miles there is a driveway on the left to the landlord's house. Come there to pick up the key to the little cabin which is on the property next door. There is a little blue sign with the house number 4081 on a tree. Summer/Fall: You can drive up the gravel driveway about 500 feet back to the cabin (which is not visible from the road). Winter/Spring: Once the snow starts falling, plan to walk in boots or ski in your belongings using backpacks. We plow space for two cars at the foot of the driveway. If you come to the Via Kachess Road on the right, you have gone about .5 miles too far. If you make it to the Lake Kachess campground, you have gone about 2.5 miles too far. |
