| Description of Accommodations The cabin is equipped with electricity, water, small kitchenette and indoor toilet facilities, shower, washer and dryer. Electricity: As you enter the main door, the electrical panel is on the right. The main breaker will be on when you arrive. The heat will be on. Leave the breaker on when you leave. Leave the heat on. Water: The cabin is equipped with a pump/well system. Water in the Kachess area is a bit sulphury, but potable. It is pretty good in the spring and worse in the late summer. If you are fussy about the taste of water you drink, bring bottled water. Heat: The cabin has an electric wall furnace. In addition, a wood stove is in the living room area. Phone: There is no landline telephone. Cell phones have spotty coverage. If you have trouble getting service, try walking around in the yard looking for a good spot. Kitchenette Equipment: The cabin is equipped with a small assortment of kitchen utensils. These include a few pots, pans, dishes, and cooking utensils. A small combination microwave/conventional oven, single element electrical burner and dorm-style refrigerator is provided. Bedding and Bathroom: The cabin is provided with furnishings for 4 including a loft queen bed and a double bed futon in the living area. Linens, blankets and towels are provided, as well as some board games. |
