of America President: Anna LeCluyse Welcomed everyone and reminded those not wearing their nametags to put a quarter in the kitty. There was one visitor. Secretary: Marcia Mack The minutes were read. The request was made to make note of the fact that Amy Bird had won the yearly drawing for free membership. Treasurer: Mary McCalla Reported $4749.16 was in our general fund and $3000.00 was in the fund for our regional seminar. Volunteers for the audit were Mary Bahl and Karen Moore. It was decided to do this early next month before the meeting. Vice President/Membership: Amy Bird We now have 72 members. The names were read of people who had dues due in the first quarter. Anna thanked Amy for putting together the two-year address booklets. Regional Representative: Nancy Bernhardt It was announced that this year's regional seminar still has room available in all classes. Program: Arthur Rinehart March and April's programs have not yet but planned. Arthur wants suggestions for programs. Traveling Teacher: Deborah Powell & Sandy Romanoski No report. Education/Video Library: JoCarol Johnson & Rebecca Pruckler One more Carron class will be held. Sandy will be giving a punch needle class. The sign up sheet will be available in March. Newsletter/Advertising: Susan Tressin Everything is going well. Philanthropic: Lin Yeskie Lin was asked to review all the different projects we are
supporting. They are: Old Business: Arthur had business card printed for guild member to share with other stitchers to promote our guild. New Business: In the future the meeting minutes will be posted on our website. People working on the Carron project will have a single presentation of all the pieces once they are finished. The motion was made and seconded that we donate the beads left over from the neckband cooler project to a co-worker of Mary's that is still making them. Reported by Marcia Mack |
