Course Assignments:

It is the intention of this course that all assignments be of worth. These assignments are a guide and can be substantially modified based on the preferences of the students. More detailed information regarding these assignments will be presented in class.

1. Word processing documents. This assignment will be the completion of a resume. (10%)

2. Blogging. Using blogging tools, maintain an online journal of reflections, reviews of 3 articles, post an introduction and one idea of how to use blogs in your classroom. (15%)

3. Presentation via multimedia, for use in another course or on a topic that you expect to teach. Suggested software: PowerPoint, Hyperstudio, or KidPix. (20%)

4. A pamphlet that describes your teaching metaphor.(10%)

5. Web Page design. This will be a completion of a page which advocates for students using Dreamweaver web authoring tool. (15%)

6. E-portfolio creation. Course assignments and reflections about your work will be posted via Blackboard's Content System (15%)

7. Class Attendance and Participation. (15%)
