Powerpoint Presentation Requirements

Powerpoint has become a presentation tool often seen in classrooms. Your assignment is to create a powerpoint presentation which incorporates appropriate objectives from Vermont's Framework of Standards and Learning Opportunities. You will choose a topic that you would be expected to teach. Your audience is your colleagues in class. The topic needs to be informative and interesting, and something that you know very little about. Part of the final grade of this assignment will be your research, online and traditional.

Start with internet searching strategies. Locate three sources that you would like to share with classmates. Add to your list as you locate more resources. Your final project will be evaluated using the criteria found here.

The internet has an abundance of advice on how to create effective presentation. A quick search of "effective powerpoint presentations" on google located these sites as well as hundreds of others. Use your "crap detecting" skills to determine which sites provide the most knowledgeable and legitimate information.
