| These characters are not fully machine. In fact, some of them may not have 'mechanic' parts at all- their needs may be met with the latest in nano-technology. To further that, many 'pure' humans have had cosmetic enhancements to change their eye or hair color, or other types of cosmetic surgery. Just think of it as plastic surgery but without the nasty scarring or need for healing time. | |||||||||||||||||||
| Psions | |||||||||||||||||||
| Psions are characters with various superhuman powers that cannot and never will be able to 'transform' due to weakness and many other factors. Although Psions have less abilities than Trans, they are often more finely honed, and occasionally stronger than the same ability found in a Trans. Common abilities in psions are telepathy, empathy, telekinesis, and pyrokinesis, although there are many, many other abilities. There are rumors of humans who can move at incredibly swift speeds or even communicate in a rudimentary fashion with animal or plant life. Those with powers are placed under the same stigma as the Children by the general public and the Council. | |||||||||||||||||||
| Trans/Soldiers/AE | |||||||||||||||||||
| The members of the Children who can transform are known within the organization as Soldiers of Eden. Also, there are some who exist outside of the organization who fear admitting their abilities. 'Trans' are able to metamorphose into AE's, or Alter Egos, of their forms to enhance their abilities in and out of combat. These Alter Egos are truely as their name suggests- alter egos of the Tran's latent personality, occasionally even the complete opposite of the Tran's usual emotional state. The appearances of the AEs reflect that from which their powers are drawn- the great masses of cosmic energy given identity by human belief. Trans draw their powers from angels, demons, mythological creatures, spirits, elements, and so forth. The AEs identity usually parallels its power source. Most AEs possess some sort of weapon that normally can be summoned or dispelled during transformation at will by its owner. Very few Trans exist that are not tied to the Children in some way or another. | |||||||||||||||||||
