Check out the 4ID Assn website at www.4thinfantry.org and click on News on 4th Infantry Division in the Gulf. That will give you the most recent updates

http://pao.hood.army.mil/4id is the 4ID website from Ft Hood. There is a link on there "Iraq Photos/News Articles" that will take you to a list of the Ironhorse Desert News newsletters. They seem to be put out every week

Bob Babcock is the President of the 4ID Association. He puts out a daily update to anyone who is interested. In the first part he includes any news articles that mention the 4ID. The second half is, "What Our Families Are Hearing." It included notes that families of 4ID members have written to him. In the notes are what the family members have heard from their soldier. I've gained a lot of useful information from the notes, especially ideas for care packages, and overall it's an uplifting newsletter.
If you want to receive this email update email Bob at [email protected]
