Oakland

East Bay Kenyukai's parent dojo, Oakland has trained Kenshi for the last fifty years. Miyata-sensei began with this dojo in 1953 and since then spawned Alameda and Berkeley Kendo dojo. Oakland has attracted many senseis from Japan and Korea to practice there.

    

Days: Wednesday and Friday (Please e-mail us to insure class is happening that day) * There will be no practice the first friday of each month.
Time: Class begins promptly at 7:00pm and ends at 9:00pm.
Where: the DeFremery Center at 1651 Adeline in Oakland
Wednesday practices comprises of conditioning, waza, and keiko.
Friday practices comprises of conditioning, waza, and jikeiko.
