About the Authoress

Holy fuck. I've often thought that Davan, the main character in this comic, was pretty much exactly like my ex, but this strip parallels too closely for comfort our relationship and some of the range of feelings I've been having in relationship to his dumping me for the past 10 months. Not that I cheated on him every night of our relationship, and not that we remained celibate in our relationship for any particular reason ... but still.

Randy Milholland is spying on my life. Curse you, Randy. Curse you.

In other news, I have a crush on someone. The bad news is that he is probably almost twice my age (I am unsure on the age front), and my gay coworker thinks that he probably likes men more than women (we were conversing about single available men during our wee knitting group this weekend). I need to get over this whole falling for older men/men who are gay thing.

Better yet, I need to start dating guys who are my age and not emotionally messed up. Are you like that? Single available men ages 25 to 30! Please be cute! Please be funny! Please live in the SF Bay Area! Please don't prefer rap and hip-hop over all other forms of music! If you fit the bill, click on the snakie below! Operators are standing by for your email.

This is going to be a fucked-up holiday season indeed; probably not as bad as last year, though, if that's any comfort.
