| Stop #3 Hokes Line near Culp house |

shows the Culp house in the background. This marker explains that Hokes
brigade (which the Sixth North Carolina was a member of) took shelter in
a ravine that is still plainly visible and began their attack on East Cemetary
Hill from this position on present day East Confederate Avenue in Gettysburg.
