Members of the Sixth North Carolina nearly blend into the Mural at Coster Avenue in Gettysburg at the 2nd tour stop. Closer inspection reveals that the 12 year old Mural is showing signs of  deterioration and needs our help to restore it. Go to the Mural page for details about how you can SAVE THE MURAL

Tour Stop 3 shows the Culp house in the background. This marker explains that Hokes brigade (which the Sixth North Carolina was a member of) took shelter in a ravine that is still plainly visible and began their attack on East Cemetary Hill from this position on present day East Confederate Avenue in Gettysburg.
