Sorry, but it is impossible to really see everything
in one visit, so I have decided to focus on the battle our boys in the
Sixth were in! We will trace their steps in the morning and end the morning
with a short memorial service at their "high water mark" on East Cemetery
hill. After Lunch, there is plenty of time to visit the museums,
shops and visitors center. Late in the afternoon we will reform at the
North Carolina Monument and end the day seeing most of the remaining "major
sights" of the battle field.
Please join me by wearing the gray to
honor our boys. We will be outside a lot so bring a cooler with cold drinks
and snacks to refresh yourself. Don't forget your camera and binoculars.
Saturday July 1, 2000
