People are cruel when they feel anonymous. Many times, noobs are run over or shot with painballs by griefers, folks who just want to make your life miserable and love to watch your avatar slide across the sand. But what can you do when you're under attack?
One of the first things you want to learn to do in There is put on your Forcefield as shown below:
Your Forcefield is on when there is a check mark next to it.
You can tell if your forcefield is on by looking at your own nametag. In the picture below, my nametag, Dweeb, has a yellow border around it. Other nametags around me do not. I have my forcefield on, and the others do not.
Many times your forcefield may be turned off automatically, as it was for the folks in the funzone behind me in the picture above. Get in the habit of checking your nametag when you leave a paintball arena or other area where your forcefield has been disabled.
