DUDLEY SERIOUS  is a musician who has been making very unique music for many years.  He began writing and performing standard progressive rock in a group setting, then quit at an early age.  Then he started  making electronic music but found that his perfectionist ways began to get in the way, since the artist never felt the piece was completed. To remedy this, he decided to limit all work on each song to be complete with in a 24 hr. time frame.  This meant; composing, recording all instruments & vocals solo, producing & mixing the tune, then shoot a video all within one day - so much for being a perfection.Not to mention making some unusual original music.

Dudley has produced over 20 albums of material that no one has every heard. Mr. Serious likes it that way - no interference in the creativity.

    Mr Serious came out of his second retirement around the  millennium w/ the advent of home studio CD Recording. First he began mastering all the old albums to CD then began compilingold unreleased material.   When that ran out, he was happily forced to once again start to write & record new songs. With Dud's prime objective of 24 hours per production it afforded his prolific  nature and over the past few years he has been producing at least 3 New Albums each year {new digital equip.helps a bit too}. 

     2006 was a bumper year featuring The FILLER ALBUM - a more serious refined collection dealing w/ relationships. Dud also continued the 3 Artist Annual Project w/ Volume two TRI-TRY AGAIN!  Finishing off the year with the politically  angry PINKING SHEARS releases.

   2007  saw  the releases of the experimental LP HAPPY KNOT which was  followed by TRICYCLE - Volume 3 of the 3Arts collection {dedicated to the work of Phil Ochs, Preston Sturges & Robert Hienlien}.  TEXTURAL CIPHER was relesaed in two formats at the end of the year . 

  In 2008 Dud has continued to make music at an alarming rate.  He started out the year w/ 2 mini projects; he assembled a DALI ep  and his first ALMOST aLIVE album.  The 1st albumINVASION appeared in April, followed by 08 Tribute LP [6-08] -TRiPOD {Groucho, Hedy, Louis Philippe} and then his first Covers album COVERED UP IN TIME arrived in  July.   NO VOX a instrumental album was culled from previous backing tracks, and 5 new exclusive tracks.   The year was closed out in Dec.with the POCKET PLAYDATE album which touches on even more musical styles.

   2009 has again been a fun series of projects!  The Year started w/ the
3rd Career BOX SET - Cost of Liberty - 5 CDs & one DVD!   The first new material release came in the down of the more laid back DEAR DOWN. The years 3Artist Tribute installment   TRIFECTA features inspiration from; BarberA StanwYK , AndY PraTT & MC EsCheR  - an interesting grouping as usual.      SERIOUS EPIC is a 2CD compilation of some of the longer stranger rambling tracks from over the years & a few New Bonus Tracks.    PRETENDING is the second Covers release featuring more obscure songs done in the unique Dudley way.
GIBBERISH should make it's appearence come December !
