MANGLED ART (1983 � released 2003) - The second album of electronic music was never released until re-mixed and reassembled some 20 years later in 2003. Not Dudley�s strongest material since the album was unfinished � �Theories on How It Works�, �Lead Me Through�
THE VOID (1984) - Dudley got excited about writing vocal songs again and completely abandoned instrumental music. The theory behind the new music was to compose/record & shot a video for each song all in one 24 hrs.. �On No Boy� , �I Need Some Help�, �What ever You See�
COMMODE (1985) - The second classic vocal album featured new midi-keyboard and drum machine sounds. The self portrait cover art portrays our hero�s head coming out of a toilet. The album featured some collaboration with other�s ; �Don�t Be Like Rock� w/ Greg Mathews , �Mextette� w/ guitarist Joe Malandra , �Mind If I Break Up� and the 12 minute epic �Polluted Minds�
HUMAN FRAILITIES (1986) - Serious� biggest seller of the classic period had a more sophisticated approach, instrumentally, vocal harmonies and production values. The Public just can�t get enough - �Goin� Alone�,� Camp Do Land�, �Mountains, Clouds, Herbs and Roots�,�Albino Black�
33 3/3rds (1988) - The first concept album, follows the autobiographical story of Dudley�s life. Each song represented an event taking place in ones young every three years . The title track �33 3/3rds� represented the artist�s age upon completion or the song cycle age 34 also featured were; �Bactine� , �Building Walls�, �Catch as Catch Can�. Upon completion of this monumental album DS decided to retire from the music business .
CM - FarLAND (1990 � released 2001) - During retirement Serious couldn�t sit still and decided to produce a new form of Serious Music ! Playing upon the Minimalists musical movement (where the composition featured minute changes in the piece of music) , Dud's Maximalism featured multi-layered recordings where a multitude of events are happening simultaneously . Unfortunately the whole concept was all too taxing and Serious was taking it all too serious and abandon the whole thing. "Not A Number", "Force of Habit" - The material finally saw the light of day with the 2001 release.
FUGLEY (1991 � released 2002) - After the maximalism debacle , Dudley went back to retirement but once again excited about vocal music by working with a new exciting collaborator , Nel�s Hooters. The first album of the 90�s featured new songs of love and despair, {yeah sure} - Dudley and Nels released two singles �P Song� and �Hey world, It�s�.� . & �Lady Madonna�
ALBEIT INASMUCH (1993 � released 2002) Serious continued to be inspired but working w/ others had several creative sessions with two more Artists , vocalist Ana C and guitarist extraordinaire Herminio Nieves . The album was completed only in 2002 with additional re-recording and help from new singer Zane . songs include; �Hanna Taylor� , �Murkin Jerkin� , �The Lee Twins� , �Bludgeon You�
BROTHERLY LOVE - SOLEM CLOWN - ENTANGELMENT [Egon EPs] (2000) - With the new millennium Dudley came out of his retirement stupor and became active again. The advent of recordable CDs made him excited and he began initially remastering the old albums to CD, but once that was done he found a lot of unreleased previous material that the public needed to finally hear. Three extended Play EPS were released featuring art work by German Artist Egon Schieler. ��Unique Properties�, �Feelin� Lousy�, �NAMBLA� , �Verge of Home�
CROONER (2002) Easing back into the business after re-mastering older material and releasing the FarLAND album in 2001, Dudley decided to once again try out the vocal cords. The first new album was made up of mainly covers and some originals previously uncompleted. �Sphincter�, Brian Wilson�s �In The Back Of My Mind� , Dylan�s �Father of Night�
ALONE ON THE STAGE (2002) After some 20 years of recording , work began on the Greatest Hits release , but progress was going slow so it was decided to release a Hits Sampler in the meantime. It also featured the title track �Alone On The Stage� this first completely new composition/recording in years.
GROUCHO � BUSTER � HAROLD [THE CLASSIC COMICS EPs] (2003) - After the success of the Three Egon EPs in 2000 it was decided to mine the archives and release another series of recordings loosely based around three favorite comedians for the golden era. �Stupid Little Song�
LAND (2003) - Late in 2003 Dudley re-established a long interrupted friendship with his first musical partner, John Malandra �together they made up a group called LAND. Hours of never released material dating from 1968 to 1987 were finally mixed and released. Features the first song recorded together �What Do You See?� , �Up We Go�, �Horse Drawn to Water�, �We Have Arrived� & vocals for �Tuna Dundee� completed in 2003.
WINDOWS INTO THE SOUL OF DUDLEY SERIOUS (2004) - While working on two larger, time consuming projects Serious released two more collections culled from the vaults. WINDOWS�. Featured the best material from the six previously released EPs plus four new records & rarities ;�Wilson B. Goode� , �Time Passes On�, �Just a Little Ditty� , and 16 minute �Rusty Jone�s Last Star�, �Porcelain Moonlight� and �Toby�
HANDS OF TIME (2004) - Another volume of rare material, this time featuring newer second half of career work ,re-mixed of classics as well as previews of future album releases. �What Becomes of the Broken Hearted�, �I�m Not In Heat� {a reworking of 10cc I�m not in love } .
POETIC INSEAM (2004) - An interesting collection of new cover tunes; E. John�s �Candle in the Wind�, The Resident�s �Easter Woman�, Jackson�s �Beat It�, New Recordings ��Val-A-Date�, �Explosive Situation� , Re-mixes of �I Want Some Help� & �Don�t Be..� and Poetic Readings of DS Lyrics - �Fugley� , �Season String�, "Capture The Power"
WHOA IS ME (2004) - Five years in the making , the second real concept album in the long DS Career. As originally planned it was observed that at the turn of the millennium many humans were even more self obsessed and liked to complain about how every little thing affects them personally with the thought that the whole world should also be affected. But things all changed 911 2001, all of a sudden we were all more than a bit Whoa is US ! The collection took on a new tanner. Record it is split up into two distinctive �sides� -Pre and Post �911� . Side 1 features ; �I Hate My Life�, �I Need A Girlfriend�, �Prozak� - Side 2 has; �Weapons of Mass D� , �As If Only�, �Cast Us Away�, �Did She Touch You?�
BOXED SET (2005) - In the winter of 2005 a very special 30 year retrospective box set was prepared. The seven CD collection includes all of the previous albums released, two original albums per-disc, housed in a wooden box.
P.SOUNDS - WONDER FULL (2005) - In preparation for the Brian Wilson section of the concept album TRIDOL , Dudley wanted to cover a song from the classic Pet SoundsAlbum so he demoed them all. Eventually releasing 2 volumes of Wilson covers. "Wouldn't It Be God Knows".
