| Darby Township Public Library offers the following upcoming events: September 24, 2007 Online Book Club: Our online book club launches on this date. Join this club to read and discuss books with others--all from the comfort of your own home! Please check the Web site again for our first book and additional details. September 29, 2007 Book Sale at First African Baptist Church: Support the library by stopping by our table at the Wings Ministry Health Fair, Flea Market and Car Wash, starting at 9 a.m., to purchase fiction and non-fiction books! October 13, 2007 Career Exploration: This meeting, which starts at 1:00 on Columbus Day, is a must for your junior high- and high school-age children. Tammy Taliaferro will provide information and resources that will jump-start your sons and daughters into thinking about the education background and resources they will need to achieve their career dreams. October 20, 2007 Culture Club: From 1-3 p.m., Beatrice Poe will lead library members in a discussion on interesting cultural topics. November 17, 2007 Jewelry Design Made Easy! From 1-3, Danielle Campbell-Angah will give a presentation on the basics of jewelry making and give participants to make their own.
