This letter is written by Mary Sullivan (nee Kilkelly) to her sister Ellen Farragher (nee Kilkelly), and it mentions the death of their sister Margaret Murphy (nee Kilkelly) and that another sister, Bridget Burke (nee Kilkelly) is doing well.

On the second page, note the reference to “loughgorge.”  Malachy Kilkelly operated a public house at Laghtgeorge near Claregalway (on N17) which is still in operation today.
