Hello everybody, remember me? I'm Droos, the funniest beagle of the Netherlands! But guess what: I moved to France! On this page I will tell you how my life looks like nowadays and show you some pictures of me, my friend Stella the Canadian Shepherd Dog and all other animals on and around Domaine Le Cheval Islandais.

First some pictures of my childhood, back in the Netherlands. I was born on October 23rd 1998, together with some strange looking brothers and sisters...
...but still I was willing to share the porridge. Then my owners came to pick me up and I got to meet Kitah, a lovely black labrador. And very comfortable too!
Well, things have changed a lot recently. Kitah is gone and now I live in France on the countyside. My new friend is Stella and there are chickens,and rabbits to play with. As you can see I am a two-coloured beagle, so I got far nicer looks than my aunt Djoura, who comes to visit me every now and then. She looks like this:
One of my hobbies is to chase cats, but recently one came to live with us and my boss told me to be friends with Lotje, the pussycat. Believe me, that's not easy!

If we go walking through the fields, we beagles are kept on leish because my owner thinks we would go chase rabbits or deer...but I would only play with them!
Nice area here, no? This they call the Alsace and lies in the north-east of France.
Maybe I should start to learn the language, like Stella. That is what I call a very intelligent dog, always reading books in the armchair...

Sometimes we are put to work, then we have to do the dishes, or look for eggs. We don't mind that at all!
�� But mainly we just prefer to sleep on the couch.......��������

Here I am with some of the guests of our camping (I'm the only one on a leish here, it's just not fair!)
Best of all during wintertime: play in the snow and then sleep in front of the fireplace, obviously...
And when it is really hot during summer, I go swimming...but once a year at the most!
