Transformations are the result or end product of attempts at change. Ironically, change is a constant in life. For without change, we are not really living, we have only an existence.

For those of us who willingly embrace change as it comes or actually go out and seek change as an opportunity for adventure, change is a life enhancing and welcomed personal challenge.

I also believe that much of life is lived
reactively, as in a trance state, and without much conscious thought. Essentially, we rely on programming, such as cultural mores and rules to guide our day to day interactions. Our response to such programming results in trance behavior. At an unconscious level we read and interpret the actions of others and of society at large. This is facilitative of behavior compliance in social settings and is necessary in an orderly society. For example, most of us are conditioned to stop at a stop sign if we are driving in our cars. However, as pedestrians, we know not to react to the stop sign. We know, without exercising conscious thought, that the sign is not intended for pedestrians.
