welcome to drive 81, a new band hailing from Crete, NE.
we put music above everything else.
alrighty. From Doane College in Crete, we have
Stu Kissick
on drums and
Ben Francis
on bass guitar. The other half of the band lives in Great Bend, Kansas:

(he's italian...don't ask me) on guitar and
Dave Schutter
on vocals.
D81 has finished its Demo / EP, called The First Bleeding Cut. It includes the songs "You", "My Endeavor", and "238".
so pick one up from a band member. try and give us two or three bucks for it, because it's pretty friggin' good.
for now, we have a few scattered shows lined up in mid-december in Lincoln, NE and Vermillion, SD. we'll post the times when we know. shows are going to start happening every single weekend after christmas '03. Check the site for show locations and times; we have gigs lined up in Vermillion, Sioux Falls, Huron, and Yankton, South Dakota...Lawrence, Great Bend, Topeka, and Kansas City, Kansas...and of course Crete, Lincoln, Omaha, Norfolk, Wayne and Osmond, Nebraska.
