Hey, my name is Ben and I play the bass guitar. I currently don't have the best equipment, but that is soon to change because I am going to get a new bass and a new amp that will be about 400 watts with 8-10" speakers in it.
I LOVE punk rock, alternative, and heavier darker emo. I really dislike rap, metal, pop, and hairbands. Actually I guess you could say I love anything that I like the sound of.
I have been wanting to play in a band for the past 5 years. My dream of actually seeing it happen looks as if it has finally arrived. Some bands that really have influenced me in the past and that still influence me include: Blink 182, Incubus, NFG, Lifehouse, Boxcar racer, The Starting Line, the jv all*stars, Green Day, Taking Back Sunday, Autopilot off, and The All-American Rejects. I really like different aspects from all these bands like lyrics, instrumental parts, vocal layering, and just the amount of work and dedication they put forth to sound good.
