DRAZIL was created in 1999 by Landon, John, and Felix. They attended Wingate High School at the time. When they first started to play they hardly knew each other. Sick and tired of putting up with the high schools policy and stuff somehow they found themselves gradually learning about one another. John is an ordinary kid whose very talented at playing guitar, Felix is very unique at guitar, but felix and John only knew faces and did not know each other that well at the time.
As time went by and their senior year came to an end, they were more interested in music as a band than college or careers in the system. Their music progressed and soon their taking the stage in front of an audience like you. Now I must let Felix tell you the damn story because I'm just the intro buddy. I'll just wait for him to write the story or book for you.
Drazil became the name from Felix. He would tag it all over the place. John and Landon formed the band in 1999. We started out with shitty equipment practicing in this small room in back of the music room at the High School. Orginally Felix was supposed to be the bass player for us but he soon realized there was somehting missing from the group. Thus he became the singer for _DRAZIL- . At First we just played cover songs here and there basically just messed around. But as the years kept growing we developed a brotherhood among us. John would write the riffs for the songs and landon would add beats to match it. Felix would add lyrics that meant something very special to him.The first song that we ever wrote was J.F.T.F.I, one of our trade mark songs. Everyday would be constant practice for us, every chance we got we took advantage.Though we never had a Bass player to start off with we never thought much about it. Until we went to this show one time to hand out our demo to see if we can could get a show. There we ran into a bass player that wanted to jam with us. It was good so far playing gigs here and there but tension's started to arise between indivdual differrences. thus by far we consider it a mistake. So years of b****hit passed us by so now here we are today with a new bass player and everything working out great. |
