Launchers and Stadiums

Okay, these are definately very important, so an "about beyblade" section just wouldn't be complete without them!

Launchers are just what they sound like, they launch the beyblade! (who could have guessed that eh?)

You clip the beyblade onto the bottom of the launcher like in the picture to the left.

Then you pull the ripcord. When you pull the ripcord (A.K.A. the "winder") the ridges on the cord spin gears that are inside the launcher and these gears make the bottom part of the launcher spin very quickly. When the spin-speed of the launcher is fast enough, the beyblade launches (drops off) and continues spinning quickly!

There are many kinds of launchers, the pictures below show two of the types (the left picture shows a basic launcher and in the bottom-right corner of the other picture you can see part of Tyson's Dragoon Launcher)

There can be two definitions of the word "Beystadium". The word can be used to refer to the building (stadium) that the beybattle is in or it can mean the Beydish that the beyblades spin in. (Two pictures of stadiums (dishes) are below. The left picture is the one in the warehouse where the Bladesharks hang out and the other picture is an example of a small practice dish used by most amateur bladers)
