Several years have passed since the end of DB and Goku and Chi-Chi are happily married with a son-Gohan.A mysterious warrior arrives on Earth searching for his brother "Kakarott" ,after a brief scuffle with a farmer and Goku's arch-enemy Piccolo,he heads after his brother. Meanwhile Goku has turned for a reunion with his old friends at Kame House.The mysterious alien appears and after a quick scuffle with Krillin announces himself as Gokus brother-Raditz.He tells Goku that he is from an alien race called the Saiyans and that he was ment to destroy all life on Earth.Raditz demands that Goku rejoins the remaining Saiyans(Their planet was destroyed by a meteor).When Goku refuses Raditz quickly sees him off and kidnapps Gohan. |
| Goku decides to head after Raditz even though Raditz is far stronger ,however Piccolo appears...he seems to have decided to join Goku in his fight against Raditz.The uneasy alliance heads after the evil Saiyan.After catching up to Raditz the fight begins but Goku and Piccolo can't even touch Raditz.Then,Goku grabs Raditz's tail,paralysed with pain the ruthless Saiyan is unable to move as Piccolo powers up his Special Beam Cannon(Makankosappo).However at the last second Goku releases Raditz under the condition that he will leave Earth for good.Once released,the Saiyan Warrior attacks the weakend duo. Gohan(locked in Raditz's space pod)hears Gokus cries of pain and his power level rises dramatically he attacks Raditz with a flying headbutt.Goku now grabs the weakend Raditz from behind and asks Piccolo to use the Special Beam Cannon even though it will mean the death of Goku as well.Piccolo fires and both Saiyans are killed.Before Raditz dies however,Piccolo explains that Goku will be back thanks to the Dragonballs.Raditz tells Piccolo that his scouter is also a communicator and that the other Saiyans will arrive in just 1 year. Realising Gohans hidden power,Piccolo takes him to be trained.Meanwhile in the afterlife Goku has gotten permission off King Yema to try and make to King Kai at the end of Snake Way for special training before the Saiyans arrive. |

| Goku continues his journey down Snake Way meeting many perils along the way including a brief stay in hell! Meanwhile Piccolo and Gohan are training hard with a few mis-adventures of their own(Gohan's transformation into an Oozaru) |
| Meanwhile our human heros(Krillin, Yam Cha, Tien, Chiaotzu and Yajerobi all train hard at Kami's Tower. Goku finally reaches the end of Snake Way and after passing some of King Kai's unorthodox tests.Goku trains for the remaining 88 days. Finally the big day arrives and the 2 Saiyans(Nappa & Vegeta) arrive on Earth.Upon their arrival they vaperoise a portion of the city.Meanwhile Goku is wished back and begins the journey down Snake Way back to Earth. Nappa finds Piccolo's power level to be the strongest on the planet and Vegeta decideds to care of him first.Gohan and Piccolo wait for the immenent arrival of the Saiyans and are joined by Krillin and the others(except Yajerobi who has decided to commentate on TV for the "Earth Special Forces").Nappa and Vegeta decide to make a game out of this by releasing 6 Saibamen to take on the 6 Z Fighters. Tienshinhan quickly defeats the 1st Saibaman and Yam Cha looks like he won his battle but is killed in a Kamikaze attack. Krillin despatches of the remaining 4 Saibamen with 1 blast. Nappa now joins the fray and despite their best efforts Tien and Chiaotzu both perish trying to defeat the powerful Saiyan.Overhearing Piccolo's talk of Goku's power Vegeta decideds to wait 3 hours for Goku to return.However the hours come and go and Goku doesn't arrive and so the battle begins anew. Piccolo is killed saving Gohan from an energy blast and Krillin is unable to move but just before Gohan is destroyed........Goku arrives to save his son!Giving half a senzu bean each.Goku quickly dispatches Nappa with his new Kaio-ken attack however it his Vegeta who kills the mighty Saiyan for losing to"Kakarott". The fight between Goku and Vegeta begins with Goku sending Vegeta into the air with a Kamehameha attack but Vegta comes back down and realising he can't defeat Goku,transforms into an Oozaru.Goku gets beat up pretty bad while trying to form a Spirit Bomb and even Krillin and Gohan are powerless to help. However Vegeta's tail is cut off by.....Yajerobi?! Back in his normal form Vegeta begins to beat up Gohan as Krillin and Goku are both defeated.However our Saiyan hero has one more trick in store......Goku gives Krillin his remaining energy and Krillin forms a Spirit Bomb despite a minor set back the Bomb connects and it looks like Vegeta has been defeated. But the cold-hearthed Saiyan isn't down yet and it looks like all is over when Gohan turns into an Oozaru!!Vegeta manages to remove the pint-size Saiyans tail but Gohans giant form lands right on top of Vegeta!! Vegeta struggles back to his pod but krillin catches up to him and is about to destroy him when Goku tells him to spare Vegetas life.Vegeta flies off promising that he will return! |
