| Because Piccolo was killed by Nappa,the Earth Dragon Balls are now useless.After Goku was brought to hospital, it was learned that there are also Dragon Balls on Planet Namek,Picolo's homeworld.And the only way Earths Special Forces(a name given to them by the media)can see their beloved friends again is to get the original Dragon Balls on Planet Namek(or just wait a few years,then they'll die and see them anyway) They find the Space-ship that brought the Namek to Earth in the first place.They used this ship to go to Namek (after Bulma learned a bit of the Namek language) Planet #79,stupid name.But anyway,Vegeta went there to revover before he set off on his journey to Planet Namek #79 was a planet controlled by Furiza,so Vegeta went there to revover(at the time everyone thought that Vegeta was still loyal to Furiza,that's why it was safe for Vegeta there)Anyway,after learning that Furiza was already gone to Namek to search for the Dragon Balls,Vegeta rushed there as fast as he could. Bulma,Gohan and Krillin encounter a space-ship on their journey.It's full of kids who fled after their planet was destroyed by Furiza.After a short while of the kids suspecting the three Earthlings,they finally welcome them after Gohan and Krillin help a few of them from being squashed by a collapsing roof.The kids then help Gohan,Bulma and Krillin in return by telling them a shortcut to Namek.When the three arrive,they are welcomed by Raiti and Zaacro.They are the Nameks or at least that's what Krillin and the others thought... They are really shape-shifting aliens who were stranded on the planet(which is not Namek by the way)and will do anything to get out even if that meant killing the three Earthlings. After helping the three find some fake Dragon Balls,Raiti and Zaacro attack Gohan,Bulma and Krillin and try to leave them stranded on this deserted planet,but, due to some last minute action(and also because Raiti and Zaacro didn't know how to open the door to the space-ship)Krillin and the others escape.Now it's off to the real Namek. After arriving on Namek,Gohan and Krillin encounter,Zarbon,Dodoria and Furiza who along with their henchmen are terrorizing the Namekian villiages to find the locations of the Dragon Balls.Dodoria was ordered by Furiza to kill the Nameks of one particular villiage.He did(and pretty easily)Then he was ordered to kill a Namekian child! Just as Dodoria was about to kill him,Gohan and Krillin attacked Dodoria and knocked the fat-man down for the count.Krillin and Gohan escaped with Dende,but were being chased by Dodoria. Let's just say,that Vegeta(after arriving on Namek)gets into a couple of fights.These skirmishes are with Kui and Dodoria,both of which are killed without Vegeta even breaking a sweat.Vegeta now encounters Zarbon,and it's pretty even until Zarbon transforms and beats Vegeta senseless.Gohan,Krillin and Dende(the Namekian child) go to Guru's house.It is here that Gohan and Krillin have their sleeping powers awakened. It is here that I heard the quote that made me punch myself in the face for allowing myself to even hear it: "...ahh..the power...The Power...THE POWER!!!!!IT IS I WHO NOW POSSESSES THE POWER!!!" That little quote by Krillin gave me a black eye for a week... Furiza,getting frustrated,now summons the Ginyu Force to Namek(the elite fighting force of Furiza's army)in the mean time,Zarbon is ordered to go find Vegeta because he knows the location of a Dragon Ball.Zarbon searches frantically to find Vegeta,finds him,drags,him to Furiza's ship.It is here that vegeta revovers to full health and becomes even stronger than ever before.After Vegeta recovered,he broke out of the room that he was being kept in and ran throught the ship to find the Dragon Balls and throw them out the window! Vegeta escaped,and again Zarbon was ordered to find Vegeta.Vegeta finds Gohan and Krillin at Guru's house and "persuades" Krillin to give hime the Dragon Ball that he has.Krillin bring Vegeta to the location where the Dragon Ball is,and just moments after Vegeta and the others get there,Zarbon showed up and engaged in battle with Vegeta,unaware that Vegeta was now stronger than him because he had no scouter.Vegeta won the pretty short battle.Vegeta now flies off with the Dragon Ball. While all of these events are taking place on Namek,Goku is travelling there himself in a Capsule Corp Shuttle Craft while he is training in up to 100 times Earths normal gravity.Goku arrives on Namek shortly and is extremely powerful.The Ginyu Force has now arrived(a pack of pussy's if you ask me)arrive on Namek.Burter and Guldo steal the Dragon Balls from Vegeta,Gohan and Krillin.While Captain Ginyu flies off with the Dragon Balls,the rest of the Ginyu Force start fighting with Vegeta,Gohan and Krillin,first up is Guldo... |
