After Goku dies fighting Cell he learns of the Grand Kaio and decideds to head to his planet for training. While there he meets the West Kaio and his best student Paikuhan who are there to solve a problem in the HFIL. It seems that Cell, Furiza and the Ginyu Force are taking over the Home for Infinite Losers. Paikuhan heads off to the HFIL to take care of the problem and Goku goes with him. Goku easily sees of the Ginyu Force but Cell is confident that he can stop Goku in his tracks but before he gets a chance Paikuhan takes Cell out in one quick attack. Soon the new alliance of evil are thrown in a jail cell. Goku and Paikuhan return to the Grand Kaios planet where he sees the North Kaio being teased by the other Kaios about his recent death. To celebrate this wonderful event they decide to hold an Anoyoichi Budoukai (Other World Tournament for all you dubbies). This tournament gains the Grand Kais blessing with a prize of a free training lesson given to the champion. Soon the tournament begins and both Goku and Paikuhan easily make their way to the final and are set to face each other. After a long and ardourus battle it seems like goku has knocked Paikuhan out of the ring and won the tournament. However, the two contestants are disqualified for fighting on the roof with the logic that the floor is an upside down ceiling and a ceiling is an upsidedown floor. We soon find out the real reason for the Grand Kais desicion was that he was no where near strong enough to train either Goku or Paikuhan. |
| Seven years after the Cell Games Gohan begins his first day at high school after completing most of his education at home. On the way to his first day at school he stops a bank robbery and disguises himself by turning Super Saiya-jin during the feat. Afraid his new class mates might recognise him as the 'Gold Fighter' Gohan asks Bulma for help. Soon, Gohan has a new costume and a new identity. He is the Great Saiyaman! Despite his best attempts to hide his identity eventually Videl finds out who he really is and strikes a deal. If Gohan enters the Tenkaichi Budoukai, Videl won't tell everyone his secret. Faced with no choice Gohan agrees then Videl adds a new condition...Gohan has to teach her how to fly. |
