Here's the page where I discuss my all-time favourite artists. All those who continually inspire me to greater artistic heights.
Besides being my sweetie, Lady Jane Macabre is a pretty #$*%'n wicked artist herself.  If you'd like to see some of her excellent pencil drawings and other artwork, check out her website when she gets it up and running. Not only can she draw and paint, but she's a talented sculptor, seamstress, leather-worker and probably some other stuff I've forgotten (cursed short-term memory loss! too many special herbs and spices...). Just wait 'til i get some pics of her with the new tattoos I gave her! OOOOOOH, BABY! Ooops! I just drooled onto the keyboard...
Next up is my good friend, Kris DeBoer. In our band, he was known as "Maelstrom". Kris is a talented musician who's been in several other bands (GRUDGE, GRISTLE CHEWER, etc.) and is currently playing for Infernal Majesty. I don't have any of his artwork up here, but he enjoyed coming up with band art ideas in his sketchbooks. I'll try to put some up here in the future if and when I get permission, etc.. Here's a few shots of him playing in one of our NK rehearsals at the Infernal Majesty jam-space. Unfortunately, I don't have any pics of him without corpse-paint, but hopefully I'll get more of him soon. METALLLL...!
Feaured here is the incredible artwork of Tim Vigil, one of my biggest influences. Tim's best known for his work with "Faust" written by David Quinn, but he's done many other excellent comic book series like "Eo", "Gothic Knights", "777 The Wrath", "Cuda", "Web Witch" and  others including the "Dark Utopia" books which cover all his artwork throughout the years. Truly a master of the pen-and-ink medium. ALL HAIL!

Richard Corben is another of my favourites who's been around for quite some time. Although he'd been well enough known in the comics scene, he's probably best known for his work for "Heavy Metal" magazine. His quirky comic characterizations and astounding painting skills(no, he DOESN'T use a computer, but I can see why people assume that) have always been attention-grabbing and eye-pleasing to me. I really like the way he draws his females.
The Legendary Frank Frazetta is a huge influence on me and has been ever since my dad introduced me to his incredible fantasy artwork when I was in my teens (something I can't thank him enough for). Having also had his start in the comics industry, Frank soon moved into oil painting and has done many book and magazine covers, movie promotions and a successful line of posters. I really love his stuff, the way he has with anatomy and his attention to detail is superb. He also has a way with drawing his females I've always found appealing. Aquarian Swiss air-brush master, H.R.Giger is a huge influence on me and probably has been ever since I was scared $#%*-less watching the movie trailers for the first "Alien" movie back in the 70's. I've always found his work somwhat strangely alluring; repulsive yet ever fascinating with his use of eroticism melding with the coldly bleak and mechanical. His vast volume of work includes film design for movies like the "Alien" series, "Poltergeist 2", "Species", "Dune'", and others, album covers for Debbie Harry, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Celtic Frost and others, scupltures,  and of course his numerous air-brush paintings. His work is both bizarre and innovative; oozing dark mysticism and the surrealistically erotic from every pore. Truly an artists' artist.
Simon Marsden's eerily beautiful, richly atmospheric black and white photography is nothing short of breath-taking. I've only recently stumbled upon his work and I'm definitely glad I did. His use of light and shadow is impressive and he knows how to make a scene into pure art. To check out his huge photo gallery, click the lower central image.
Groovy Ghoulie Eric Pigors has a style that's comical, bizarre, and perverse all at the same time. Having spent a number of years as an animator for Disney, Eric's now striking out on his own with his creepy, entertaining Toxic Toons which also features a line of posters, stickers, t-shirts, etc..

Kirk Lindo is another personal favourite artist whose roots begin in the comics industry. He's best known for his comic series, "Vamperotica", but has worked for various other companies including Chaos Comics as you'll see below with the pics of Lady Death and Purgatory. I'm sure he's heard it many times throughout his career, but you really gotta love the way this guy draws hair. Wild and crazy; almost with a life its own. Stay tuned for future tattoos of some Lindo pieces.
Fellow Sagittarian artist, Joseph Michael Linsner has been a fan favourite in the comics industry with his "Angry Christ" and "Dawn" titles. His attention to detail and stylishly surreal approach to his work has always been impressive to me. Check out his website by clicking the 2003 image above.
