NEWS UPDATE:
06 January 2001
blissacres.com

Hello Again!

We survived the ice storm that paralyzed the Arkansas area alright...although we did with out power and heat for six long days. It was a strange week, that X-mas week was and i'm glad it's over. It's a new year, twenty-o-one, and I'm looking forward to making it a great one! The top of our agenda for this year is launching blissacres.com. The target date is set for 24 January 2001 to open the site but work won't be complete until sometime in early April. Without giving away very much, it's going to be a cool site once we get fine tuned and happening.

Well it's over, finally at long last THE 2000 JOHN LENNON COLLECTION on-line charity drive for THE NATIONAL CENTER FOR THE VICTIMS OF CRIME is over. We were successful in raising $966 in pledge donations and we had a great time doing it! We've decided to leave the site open and keep operating it as both a tribute for John as well as a place to start for next year's charity drive...

In other new and exciting things, we've taken the leap in Clubland in the Yahoo!Clubs realm...we've started a new club called "the SplitApple salon" and it's a club for and about chatting and nothing else. It's a salon, a place where people gather to talk about the matters of the day and to help form public opinion...the "splet apple" part of the name is both an ode to the ORIGINAL SplitApple (1994-97, chicago, illinois) as well as a way to sahere the knowledge, share the sin...if you'd like to check it out, please

Another new and fun thing going on around The House of Bliss, is Kelly's Crafts! Yes, she's busy lately making these wonderful and most lovely photo albums! They're cloth covered, featruing delightful prints and artistic flair...if you'd like to see some of her work,
PLEASE CLICK HERE. We're still laying the ground work for the debute of "BlissAcres.com" and we're planning to official open this new website sometime shortly after the first of the year...please stay tuned!

Again, we appreciate your taking the time to EXPLORE AND DISCOVER our websites...please participate in the process by e-mailing your comments, signing our guest books, sharing links to your site(s) or joining some of the clubs we like...That's the cool thing about this internet world wide web thingy; it's like tv but more interactive...or least the potential is for it to be more interactive; so let's use it that way, friends, stay in touch...as John Lennon once said about his solo albums, "they're like post cards, musical post cards and this is us saying...hello? how are you? weren't the 70's a drag? we're glad you made it and we're here and so are you!" so, evoking the spirit of Lennon, this is OUR post card to YOU;

HELLO!
HOW ARE YOU?
WASN'T THE 20TH CENTURY A DRAG?
WE'RE GLAD YOU MADE AND
WE'RE HERE AND SO ARE YOU!
