| Education: June 1992 : London, Ontario : Secondary School Graduated from A.B. Lucas Secondary School with an Ontario Secondary School Diploma and Ontario Academic Credits, back in the days when Ontario required a "Grade 13" to qualify for University. I had been placed in the Enrichment Program from Grade 7 (1985) to my final year of high school (1992). ------------------------------------------------ September 1992 - May 1993 : London, Ontario Attended the University of Western Ontario (UWO) as a Philosophy major. I left in 1993 to pursue a career in music (see Music Retail, Music Producer / DJ and Multimedia Events Production). ------------------------------------------------ 1993 - 1995 : Toronto Informally engaged with the McLuhan Program at the University of Toronto, promoting web-broadcast events and as a liason into electronic music and digital arts subcultures in Ontario and Montreal. ------------------------------------------------ 1999 : Victoria, British Columbia Attended a course on Jewish Mysticism at the privately run Avalon Metaphysical Institute. ------------------------------------------------ 2000 - 2001 : Edinburgh, Scotland Attended lectures at the University of Edinburgh's New College and pursued independent scholarship. ------------------------------------------------ June 2001 - April 2005 : London, Ontario UNIVERSITY OF WESTERN ONTARIO Instead of having to apply as a "mature student" at other universities, I reactivated my file at UWO, which allowed me full-time status. At first a double major in Sociology-Psychology, I switched to the Honours History program upon realizing much of the subject matter of interest to me reached back in time. I also appreciate that the Historical discipline's methodologies are eclectic enough to allow the use of other disciplinary methods and theory. Throughout my undergraduate career I have been on the Dean's Honour list twice (and I anticipate a third time in my last year), and have been awarded three scholarships, most recently the Gordon R. Thompson Award in 2005. Click here for my current UWO TRANSCRIPT. For my future academic plans click HERE. Back to Home |
