Music Retail:

These positions supplemented my income inbetween, and during the various Multi-Media Events I was involved with through the 1990's.  The positions at Virgin Megastore were temporary seasonal positions in various departments, while the other positions were more sedentary.  Overall, my experience in music retail has given me a solid grounding in:

        -Customer Service
        -Cash Handling and Commercial Banking
        -Merchandising
        -Shipping and Recieving
        -Buying/Ordering

I have been a store keyholder at Modulations and Sam The Record Man, and engaged with a retail outlet relocation with HMV's move from their independent storefront on Fanshawe Park Road to Masonville Place Shopping Centre.

In my entire 10 year experience, I was off (surplus / deficit) on my cash deposits (and nominally at that) on less than 10 occasions.

All of these skills translate to environments where punctuality, sociability, fiscal responsibility and multi-tasking are required.
