MM Horse Show Rule Book
Our mission is to provide the best possible show opportunity for as many exhibitors as possible. We welcome a wide range of riding styles, breeds, and skill levels. Many elements go into the selection of classes we offer: number of entries in past years, indications of future interest, time limitations, etc. On occasion, interestsmay conflict; at such times we ask your understanding when we may be unable to completely accommodate your interest.
Our shows are made possible by generous volunteers willing to give up their weekend to work at the show. For each "visible" worker, there will be two or more others behind the scenes whose presence will go unnoticed, but whose absence would be catastrophic. We greatly appreciate the many favorable comments we have received on our shows in the past. We are always looking for ideas that will improve our shows.
EXPLANATION OF FEES:

Entry Fee
-- This is a per-class fee to enter each class. In cases where an "entry" consists of two riders/handlers and two sets of ribbons are awarded, there is a double entry fee, and this is noted on show bills.

Grounds Fee -- This is a per-horse charge that helps pay for grounds rental, clean-up, and insurance.

Office Fee -- This is a per-exhibitor charge that  helps defray the expenses of printing and mailing show bills, numbers, pins, office supplies, etc.

Stall Fee -- This fee appies only to exhibitors who wish to keep their horse in a stall the night before and/or day of a show. Show bill will list availability of stalls and bedding provisions. When refunds are offered for "cleaned stalls", stalls must be STRIPPED TO THE FLOOR. Tack Stalls available on a limited basis. No stall cleaning refunds given for tack stalls. We recommend making stall reservations in advance to ensure availablity. Special requests (stallion, very green horse, very large horse, etc) will be accommodated whenever possible. If stall requests exceed number of stalls available, a waiting list will be established. In the event of cancellations or no-shows, exhibitors on the waiting list will advance to the confirmed stalls list in order of receipt of requests. Any reserved over-night stall not occupied by 9 pm of the evening prior to the show will be considered a no-show UNLESS exhibitor has specifically informed show management of their intentions for a later arrival.

ENTRY PROCCESS:

We strongly encourage exhibitors to enter online if at all possible, as this drastically reduces the show day entry rush. Many public libraries have computers with internet access. Show office opens for entries approximately 2 hours prior to start of show. You will receive your entry numbers and materials at the Coggins Test Check-In. Then submit  your completed entry slips and release form with payment at the Entry Desk. When pre-show overnight stabling is available, entry materials will be available that evening for early arrivals. Entry Desk is open all day, so you can add classes to your entry at any time.
