(Better Make That $4 Now!)

April 8, 2002

On September 11, 2001, our nation was attacked. We as a nation, watched in disbelief. We couldn't believe what we were seeing. We try to tell ourselves that this can't be happening, and we try to tell our kids that everything is going to be OK. But we all felt a hole in our hearts. And all try to overcome this, but as we do this, we forget about a lady who had to watch this whole thing unfold.

She was unable to close her eyes or turn her head or plug her ears so she would not hear the screams of the people. She could do nothing but watch. For the first time in her life, she stands in disbelief and with tears coming from her eyes in fear and falling to her knees to pray for help from the people that have taken her for granted and had forgotten about her over the years. For this lady, is the mother of our country. She is the Lady Liberty.

For Lady Liberty stands for freedom and it's time as Americans we stand beside her and help her back on her feet and let the rest of the world know that you don't mess with the Mother of Our Country.

And as Americans, we need to let her know we are here for her and will defend her and stand beside her as one nation, under her and God.

So, as Americans we need to forget everything else and become one nation and do whatever it takes to defend her because without her, we are no longer one nation, but a nation under attack. - Author Unknown
