After their marriage, Mary and Roy moved to Waterloo and operated a grocery business (which was at 100 Jefferson in 1942). They retired in 1974. They must have moved to the nursing home shortly after that since Mary's obit states she had been a resident there for 15 months. Mary was a member of the First Congregational Church.
