Background Information
If it wasn't for DNA fingerprinting, many dangerous criminals would still be out there today. Because of DNA fingerprinting, criminals are taking responsibilties for their actions. DNA such as blood, saliva, and hair made it possible for investigators to identify the identity for an individual. Questions and crimes would still be unanswered if it wasn't for the great discovery of the DNA within us. It has made a huge impact on our daily lives.

DNA fingerprinting are also helpful in defining relations. For example, if a mother wants to find out who is the father of her child, DNA would be taken from both the child and the guy who the mother think could be the father. After taking the DNA samples, comparisons would be made to determine if it is a match. Finding out who is the father of the child gives closures to families and could also make a big difference in their lives.
