THE PASSION OF JESUS CHRIST
The Passion is the story of Jesus' arrest trial and suffering, and ends with the crucitixion Starts with the events in the Garden of Gethsemane, although some start with the Last Supper, or even Palm Sunday. The Passion is a story about injustrice, doubt, fear, pain, and ultimately, degarding death. Jesus suffered these for the forgiveness of our sins. The perfect example of suffering, another is incarnation -the death of Jesus shows humanity, and that Jesus as God, was willing to undergo human suffering. Another is obedience-despite initial and very human reluctance and fear, He obeys His father.

Elements of the Passion
The Last Supper: While Jesus & the apostles celebrates the Passover, Jesus rose from the table, and proceeded to wash the feet of the disciples. He came to Simon Peter he objected this, and Jesus replied "unless I wash you, you will have no inheritance with me." and he continued saying "not all of you are clean" predicting that one would betray him. Then he told the apostles to wash the feet of others, as He had shone them to do. Sitting back down at the table, He said to them, "Amen Amen I say to you, one of you will betray me?" They argued between themselves and finally Jesus said "It is the one to whom I hand the morsel after I have dipped it." And He handed it to Judas. He said to Judas "What you are going to do, do quickly" Judas arose and left, and the apostles didn't realize what happend. Jesus then told the apostles "My children, I will be with you only a little while longer, You will look for me, and where I go you cannot go, so now I give you a new commandment, Love one another as I have loved you." Peter asked "where are you going? ...I will lay down my life for you." Jesus replied "Will you? Amen I say to you the cock will not crow before you deny me 3 times." Then he continued "Do not let you hearts be troubled. I am going to prepare a place for you." He told them many other things then He blessed and broke the bread, which he gives the disciples saying, "Take and eat, this is my body which is given up for you." After the meal Jesus blesses some wine gives it to his disciples saying "Take this all of you and drink from it; this is the cup of my blood, the blood of the new and everlasting covenant,it will be shed for you and for all for the forgiveness of sins. Do this in memory of me." The event is the foundation of the Eucharist, which includes Holy Communion, Mass. THE Lord's Supper. During the meal, Jesus predicts one of them will betray Him, and another will disown Him.
