WILLIAM WONG
Accomplished Lead/Rhythm guitar, Keyboards & Background Vocals
William Wong - an accomplished musician playing guitar and piano/keys for
over 20 years. Was born in Hong Kong, China. Musically self trained
and began performing locally at age 17 throughout Northern California. Musical influences
are: Santana, Malo, Confunkshun, Cameo, Lakeside and the late Johnny Guitar Watson.
William have performed with numerous local bands from Soul, Jazz, Gospel and Filipino
music. He had a chance to sit in with George Duke and Stanley Clarke during a
concert in Sacramento.
William is also known around town as a Disc Jockey, alias "DJ Will" but he will tell you that he rather be performing on stage. When he is not performing, you can catch him playing softball in the Laguna Creek Softball Complex. William other passion is traveling around the world. His many travels has enriched him with friends and given him a prospective of cultural diversity. "This is a small world we all live in, go see it and live it"
