Edmund Simental - highly skilled and accomplished tenor/soprano saxophonist.
Playing flute and piano/keys was born in sacramento california musically trained
at Laney College and MPC college at Monterey. Began performing at high profile
venues such as: The Monterey Jazz Festivals,Harveys casino South lake Tahoe and
Flamingo Hilton . Moving to Los Angeles and working in hollywood Edmund was able
to secure work and go on tour to the orient. Touring in
Japan,Singapore,Malaysia,and Indonesia for Ten years.Opening for such greats as
Dizzy Gillespie,Joe Pass,Chuck Mangione,Bobby Caldwell,Lenny
Williams,GQ,JohnathanButler and Billy Paul. Edmund is featured on cd's by Larry
Ellis(Impressions) Gail Joe & the Criminals of Love. While also finding time to
still work at venues as Harrah's and the Sahara in Las Vegas. Edmund also
produces TV and radio jingles for clients such as Comcast,Benefical in the
Norcal region.The cd ES2005 is his first release and available online NOW.
