Like any dj who shows up in a new town, i couldn't wait for the weekend to come so i could check out the local house scene. It was my first night out in Surfers Paradise and i wanted to see if the locals moved to the same grove as myself. I went in the local cbviose house clubs but i didn't get the feeling i belonged. At the end of the night i stubled on a little cue of well dress people who seemed to have a house music look to them. I asked a exiting woman what the go was inside. She replied "the music is a bit like light techno".

Later that week I handed my demo tape in. I knew that i had to get this gig because this is the only club in town i could feel at home and do my thing. The next week the promotor called me and ask me to do a guest spot. The rest just seemed to fall into place and before i knew it i was Friday and Saturday Resident.
