Life has a way of changing on us, doesn't it? Even if we don't want it to.
But guess what? I want to move on.
My life up until a relatively short time ago -- my first twenty two years or so -- mostly involved me running from the truth. Telling myself that I can live life alone. That life is easier without the burden of people to care for. That the warmth of a glowing computer monitor is enough to keep me from going numb on any given night. The problem is, I was wrong. As Maynard so eloquently put it, "life's just too short to push it away."
So I've kept myself relatively busy. Or at least balanced.
