Pooh Bear Bank
This bank was a present for my youngest daughter, it is my own design (the bank is anyway). I have no lathe, so I cut the individual layers on the bandsaw, and then sanded, sanded, and sanded some more until it looked the way I wanted it to. This was the second attempt, the first one looked more like a nuclear reactor than a honey pot. At least that's what my wife says.

This is another project of my own creation. It is all oak, and I think it turned out really good. It gave me a chance to use my mortise machine, which saved me a ton of time. I think I'll make a high chair to go with it next. Doll Bunk Beds

Child's Bed
We had been out looking for a new bed for our oldest, when we came across a really nice bunkbed set. We really didn't need bunk beds, so I took some measurements (with my handy dandy little pocket tape), and came up with a more feminine design. It turned out alright, although I might do a few things different if I ever make another one.

I made this around the same time as the rocking horse, but I can't remember which came first... Hey, that reminds me of a joke... Anyway, it's just a couple of pieces of 1/4" plywood glued together with the numbers cut out of the piece for the top, with dowels glued into the numbers for handles. Numbers Puzzle

Rocking Horse
The plan for this came from the Lowes website, I don't have the exact URL, but it's in the projects section somewhere. I made this for my first child for Christmas in 1997. My second child played with it until she was too big for it, so for now it's been retired. I guarantee it'll be back in commision when I have Grandchildren though.

One of my own designs, I made this for my youngest child for Christmas 2001. It is smaller than a typical wagon, more suited to a toddler's size. I probably should have made the tongue a little longer, because the handle doesn't lean up against the front rail very well. Red Wagon

Toy Vehicles
Here's some toys I've made for the kids. The pair of cars that bear a striking resemblance to a pair of famous NASCAR stock cars are my own design, as is the toy train. The 2 Model T's and the Rig are from Norm Marshall's toy book. It is out of print now, but I found a copy on E-Bay. The yellow car is a VW Bug similar to one I saw at a craft show.
