The mission of Families with Children from China - Delaware Valley (FCC-DV) is to provide a network of support for families who have adopted children from China and to provide information to prospective parents in order to promote a general awareness of both Chinese and Chinese-American tradition and culture, and to support related charitable initiatives. These goals are pursued through cultural and social events. Activities include lectures, workshops, classes, performances, field trips, playgroups, and other related events.  FCC-DV is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-sectarian, non-political organization and is not affiliated with any adoption agency.

The Pennsylvania Humanities Council inspires individuals to enjoy and share a life of learning enriched by human experience across time and around the world. The PHC integrates the humanities into everyday life through partnerships with cultural institutions and community organizations. The PHC represents Pennsylvania in the Federal-State Partnership of the National Endowment for the Humanities. Founded in 1973, the PHC is a private, non-profit organization supported by contributions from individuals, foundations, and corporations; the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; and the NEH. This program is supported by the "Humanities and the Arts" initiative, administered by the Pennsylvania Humanities Council and funded principally by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the National Endowment for the Arts.

Many thanks to Whole Foods Callowhill for donating fruit, popcorn, pretzels, cookies, and drinks to our children participating in the day's performances!
