School No. 191, Bucharest, Romania

Built in 1965 our school is for both boys and girls aged 7 to 15. It has about 580 pupils in 26 classrooms and 35 teachers (11 for primary school) who are well-qualified and very committed to their job. Apart from our classrooms that are beautifully decorated we also have well-equipped laboratories where we can make experiments or watch educational videos and listen to audio-cassettes related to our curriculum.                                                       

On 15^th January 2003, thanks to our parents’ financial efforts and our teaching staff’s involvement the new IT Lab was inaugurated. It has 20 computers, a printer, a digital camera and modern furniture. 

Every year both the students and the teachers in our school do their best in order to get good results at the contests organized at different school subjects. So far, thanks to our committed teachers we have won a lot of prizes at Romanian, Maths, English, French, Physics, Biology, Geography, Art and Gym contests. All these achievements have brought us a very good reputation among the schools in Bucharest. Moreover, we regularly take part in charity activities such as gathering clothes and toys for the poor children or visiting old and sick people.
