Nature has really been generous with the area around Biella. The diversity of the environment surrounding Biella, in fact, is stunning: you can go from high mountains to the plains and the lakes, coming across wild meadow-lands, moraines and charming hills.
Even more interesting is to see how relationships between humans and nature gave birth to wonderful environments, like the ancient gold mines in "La Bessa", Burcina Parc or some little stone villages in the Cervo Valley, not to mention Oasi Zegna.
