User Profiles:

The software utility is mainly designed for the general public to provide ease of living, and promote seamless travel in their daily life. The utility is of more interest to people who often visit natural places, have an unquenchable thirst for finding new locations, and hence have a deep interest in excursions based on visits to historical places and parks. Our intended users include students, workers, aged people, travelers etc. The advantage of using such a system is that it covers applications in varied walks of life, and hence can cater to different users, in different moods, especially the ones mentioned above. This software utility will help them in their daily life activities and help them to know better about the surroundings by providing deep information about the nature, and the objects they encounter on their visits to natural places.

Three user profile and some of their interests are given below:

*Mr. Khalid Perz: Mr. Khalid Perz is a worker in an Auto-manufacturing company and travels around often, and spends his weekend with his family to visit places like natural parks, museums and mountainous areas. He is an avid traveler, and loves going to excursions. He wants a system to be developed that must provide buying tickets online, so that he could be assured that he has a ticket for going to the place he is visiting.

Moreover, he wants a system that allows a system that also allows job search, which provides the users with a list of the jobs, for a particular interest, for a particular topic and at a particular site. This, he believes is something that should be available to users on the go, and would provide users to check for jobs while they were earlier not able to check for possible jobs, for example in trains, on their way to the office, while on morning walks etc.

*Mr. Zabistian: Mr. Zabistian is student of Masters, doing his research in Linguistics. He has interest in languages, cultures and traditions and often visits other countries, especially the famous places like museums, Parks, historical places. He loves to travel, but is not interested in conventionally famous historic sites. This he believes is the reason why he doesn’t travel a lot, as there was not a lot of documentation provided for users that wanted to know about historical places, or for places that didn’t attract a lot of Tourists.

He also has another problem that he is not at all comfortable with Technology. He has never used a smart phone or a PDA. He wants a system to be developed for absolute beginners that allows the users to use the system easily and efficiently.

*Mr. Lubbe: Mr. Lubbe is a retired person. He worked in a mobile company as Customer Relationship Manager. His interests are visiting his friends, going out with his friends and visiting famous places in his country and in other countries as well. He has a routine whereby he wakes up, reads the newspaper, goes out for a walk. He often visits natural parks and forests with his friends.

As he is a retired user, he has limited experience with Technology. He is also scared of having too many things in a single system, and hence wants systems to only contain what he wants and not have features that will not be used or needed by him.
