Karl Jakob Eberhard Beyer 1810 - 1869 The twin brother of my greatgreatgrandfather Heinrich Albert Beyer was the painter Karl Jakob Eberhard Beyer. He was no one of the big paintes of this time, which had a lot of them, and he had just a modest commercial succes. His twin brother supported him for a long time. I want to show you some of his pictures, which are kept in the family. I would apreciate to get information about other pictures of the painter. In 1928 several pictures of him was shown in a exhibition in the Siegerland museum. -> Article about this exhibition (in German language).

The mother, Justine Wilhelmine Beyer, nee Winkel
Chapell in winter
These two paintings show his brother Heinrich Albert, who was a passionated hunter. Another similar picture like the right one owns Robert (Bob) Schott in Denver.
The portraits of brother Heinrich Albert and his wife Magdalene Philippine Beyer, nee L Allemand are better, than these pictures. My father got the paintings some years ago from his cousin Albrecht Pfeiffer.

This great landscape painting, owns Norman Schott in Denver. We suppose, that it is an ideal landscape, because such a landscape is not known in the region, where Karl Jakob Eberhard lived. As far as we know, he never traveled to far away regions.
