the Walking Lake of Jupiter
plot
Raeburn sends Dart to Jupiter to collect a sample of water which Doctor
Brown and Doctor Smith of Scientific Headquarters have discovered can cause inanimate
objects to move. Shortly after their arrival, Doctor Brown’s space
suit comes under the effect of the water and begins to carry him towards
one of the swamps. Dart and Husky manage to stop the suit in time
and take it back to Professor Haggerty, to see if he can find a way of
reversing the effect of the Jovian water. Gabbler releases the suit
from the chamber in which Haggerty is holding it, but before it can get far it
is electrocuted. Haggerty realizes that the water can be stopped
using electricity. Dart and his crew return to Jupiter and use electrical
discharge guns to return everything to normal.
